I have a question for all of you people saying that GLUTEN or LACTOSE/DAIRY is the cause of this problem. I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance recently but have had HH for as long as I could remember i am 22 now. Last year I was experiencing bowel problems, IBS, and it is believed that Gluten is the cause of it by doctors. I was also checked for mercury with an extensive urine test but don't have levels that are high. Can I get any help on this? I have read previous posts on...

I'm wondering how you guys are coping.

It's really been getting to me lately. My hands are moist but they're freezing cold all the time, so much it hurts. I'm looking at buying some vein medication for cold hands and I hope to god it works.

I'm just really bummed out lately, it never relents. I've got belepharitis around my eyelids too which is PISSING me off.

Hi just to let you know my side of the documentary on hyperhidrosis is being aired tomorrow on TLC (the learning channel) (September 9th at 9pm) Truth Be Told I have an embarrassing medical condition. Follows three characters around who all suffer from a unknown medical condition. Mine being one of them.

I know I never want to sit on a black leather chair on hot days because it's so embarrassing to see the wet imprint when you get up. Saw this recommended on a forum and I'm going to find a bottle. It's sold at Wal-Mart, Ace Hardware, Rite Aid, Tru Value, etc. It's what motorcyclists use to keep their butts dry because it absorbs sweat. It's a fun name too

hi there..ive got compensatory sweating from ets i tinkin of gettin kleinerts line of clothes which says that is veri higly sweat tolorable,i would like to know if any1 had used it b4,does it help,or any knows any way to cope with compensatory sweating.

hi, i'm 25 yrs old and had HH for 12 yrs. in the last 3 yrs it has gotten worst. i now sweat heavy on about 99 percent of my body. i thought about getting the sergury but i seen stories about the side effect changing peoples lives for the worst but then again i can't see my hyperhidrosis getting any worst than it is now. Just last year I start to sweat on the back of my hands and arms now to a point where the sweat would drip off my finger tips.i cant even wear shirts and ties...

This is the Pacific NW.....We hit yet another temperature high of 107 deg. today. Yesterday was 106 and it is almost 8:00 pm and temps have cooled to 101 deg. LOL I am soaked being out of the A/C for only 10 minutes.

Does anybody where any type of jersey shirts. Im gonna go purchase a few. I think they might work pretty well in the summer since they probably wont show sweat marks very well, and they are well ventilated. Any suggestions? thanks

Frey sindrome, a question???

The persons that have frey sindrome before this surgery when eat some foods like spicy foods, chocolates, wines. cheeses, etc sweat in the same area like post ets???
In more intensity like pre ets???
What other foods give more sweat???

One question for those persons who Have HH and smoke ???
At the first moment feels relax and then feels more sweat
The same for ets persons if start to smoke at the first time feels relax ( Y or N ) and then ( after few minutes ) start to sweat

If someone can give me answer, its important.

How much fluid going in to ones body should have relation with the amount of sweat going out. I have heard people saying "drying out the body" by drinking less water reduces the sweat (but increases the fatigue, obviously). I have also heard people saying that drinking more will work in favor for some "balance" in the body, and hence reduce the sweat. Today I was reading a Chinese newspaper again, which said that if you drink more, you'll "load up" the body...

It may seem a strange topic but sweating isn't the only sensation I have in my hands / feet.

When my eyebrows or my underarms sweat a bit, those areas feel 'normal' to me. But in my hands and feet I feel lots of other things. They are often freezing cold, but inside they feel like they're burning up. The skin often feels hot and clammy even on the tops of my hands. My hands often look deep red many times too. My hands and feet sometimes ache at times. It's hard...
