I had ETS surgery in July 2000. I had sweaty hands for a few years and got the nerve to ask my primary physician if anything could be done. He gave me beta blockers which didnt do much and then sent me to a dermatologist. All they could do was prescribe me Drysol and told me about Drionic. The Drysol didnt help so I began researching Drionic. When I found out the machine wasnt covered by insurance I didnt have confidence it would help me.
Another sad observation is that there are links to other articles written by members of that surgical team and quite a large number of the articles have to do with problems with the heart. Yet these very same surgeons totally ignore the fact that ETS causes autonomic failure as proven by your PET Scans. There's no way a thoracic surgeon can justify that. How in the world can they sleep at night?

Carole

Further deception can be found in this bogus study involving my surgeon and UT Southwestern. The article immediately downplays options such as botox, and iontophoresis. It favors ETS. Outside of surgery complications the only ETS side effect it mentions is compensatory sweating, and not indicating it's dibilitating affect on quality of life. The conclusion is a sad testament to the credibility of the article. There is no scientific method used to arrive at subjective satisfaction. I was part...
