Obviously I'm not good with graphics and pictures, but you can get the idea of what we're trying to show.
The black dots for Patients #1, #2 & #3 are ETS patients who all had the pet scans done. The upper black-box-line indicates normal function, the bottom PAF is "pure autonomic failure". You can see the three register out of the "normal" range. It indicates "partial loss of sympathetic nerves in the heart, presumably as asequela of bilateral thoracic sympathectomies." |

Greg, are there any similarities between the 3 ETS patients--ie, same doctor, same T* levels treated, etc. Did the pet scan doctor think it was unusual that all three of you showed damage, or were you specifically selected because it was suspected there might be a problem?
I guess I'm looking to understand why damage occurred in three out of three because obviously not everyone will have that. Carole |

Quote: Roberto, that is what the doctor wrote in his letter. The three patients are members of this forum and they are sharing this information with us. Carole |

Carole,
I am not sure of Tims profile, but I think he had Nielsen with a T-2. Spirit and I both had T-2 T-3 in Sweden. He had Drott and I had Claes. I dont think it was suprising that we all had heart denervation. I believe most everyone would show some damage, but to varying degrees. Greg |
