hi,
For the sake of argument......
What I thought, was the simple scientific way to describe a special medical condition for us. (Hope it is possible to understand what I meen....)
We can compare our problems with a lot of other syndromes. To understand it we can see how they are built up with groups of symptoms, and so on. In the dictionary I find the explanation for the word syndrome.
Syndrome means : (in medical) a set of symptoms which together indicate a particular disease or abnormal condition.

In our case I would call it a post- thoracic sympathectomy syndrome.( or something like that)
We ALL have IN COMMON a special cut in the sympathetic trunk, a sympathectomy.
From this we will find some very characteristic symptoms.
Almost 100 % will have a dry and warmer upper body.(what we can learn from a thermal picture).Dry hands are an abnormal symptom in this case, but very positive and wanted from many.
Then we have some very common symptoms, some symptoms who are not so common and some rarely/personal symptoms.

All who have had a thoracic sympathectomy have the syndrome, but not all are disabled from it. A lot can even live a long and good life with few symptoms from the surgery.

A post- ETS syndrome would giv room for all of us, from the ones who are happy with the surgery to those who are 100% disabled. And it could be a great opportunity to handle this in a serous way.

First of all we need the most thoroughly scientific study of ETS and its consequence. It will take years, but are not impossible.
Many of the medical news comes from the US, so why not hope a clever head will start this study soon.....

Correct me if I am too far from the truth.
