Regeneration and nerve sprouting is a normal process. The appearance of the few goosebumps is a sign that nerves trying to heal and re-innervate the area that has been affected. Soon you will notice more of this happening. Sadly, it can also mean a slow return of the sweating which can be just mild or can be same as before surgery. Ths however does not mean that your thermoregulation is fixed. So far I have not found any reports on the decrease of CS after the return of the initial symptoms. Doctors say that it can take up to a year for the body to readjust, so during that time CS can change (diminish or become more extreme), but after that time what CS you have got, appears to be permanent.
But I do not want to scare you, we are all slightly different and wired differently, react differently.
I think in general terms, the fact that there is activity and regeneration is a good sign, it is a sing that your body is working at healing itself.
Best of luck!
