I think the Gustatory Sweating and tingling and other abnormal ANS responses are signs of ...abnormal nerve sprouting and new connections which are not meant to be created in a healthy person - and scrambling the information along the way. It is also responsible for the return of the original symptoms for which many had the surgery in the first place. This growth however does not restore normal ANS function. It is also responsible for different pain conditions and sensitivity that develop after the surgery, when sprouting sym. nerves make connections with sensory nerves. It is random and causes other afflictions. Not sure how this would work as a template for recovery/treatment?
