The government or the social health care department haven't done much. There was a big lawsuit against the doctors where almost everyone didn't receive any damages. The doctors were acquit(it's almost impossible to win over a doctor in a trial in Sweden). Those who underwent the procedure private didn't receive any damages. Some who undervent the procedure free from the social health care department received the reversal procedure from Telaranta. The doctors, Claes and Drott were not banned from Sweden, they ended the operations voluntarily because there were patients who died under the precedure. But soon after they started to do the operations again but in Great Britain. (I'm not absolutely sure about all I have written, but I think it was almost like this).
