Hey Wetboy, I am sorry for all that you are dealing with and I appreciate your empathy. We were all mislead into this surgery. I get so angry sometimes, I don't know how to deal with it. I feel that I (we) had our trust taken advantage of and I just want to KILL sometimes, but you know the thought of spending my life behind bars and dealing with this shit doesn't appeal to me. Even these scumbags aren't worth it. Sometimes I think my anger is what keeps me going. These surgeons will keep digging themselves deeper and deeper for the sake of making money. By the way I live in Florida so I totally understand the heat / humidity issue. I spend most of my time indoors. I used to love the hot weather now I dread it. I have become almost totally nocturnal and I pray for cloudy / rainy days. CRAZY isn't it? I get Paresthesia, Phantom Sweating, Gustatory Sweating, Compensatory Sweating, Thermoregulatory problems, Lack of goosebumps and Pain in my left arm. I even sweat now in places where I didn't sweat before the surgery like the folds of my arms. On top of that I had an almost complete return of my hand sweating. (Great job, Frankengozi!!!)
In an earlier post, I stated that I was going to a Pain Specialist. He is blaming the Paresthesia on pinched nerves in my cervicle spine. He hasn't actually CONFIRMED that this was the cause but is treating me for it nonetheless. It is frustrating to say the least, and it sure doesn't explain the other symptoms.

One thing WE have to understand is that we made a decision under FALSE pretenses, and it is important to NOT blame yourself. I know this is hard, I struggle with it everyday.

Also, and don't get me wrong when I say this, but we can't assume that everything that happens to us is due to ETS. I have no doubt that your eyebrows falling out COULD be from ETS, but you have to rule out any other causes or you will worry yourself sick. I had a friend who suffered Alopecia Universalis (total body hair loss): http://en.wikipedia.org/w...opecia_areata_universalis at the age of 19. He did not have ETS done, apparently it was due to an autoimmune problem. I don't know if ETS effects the immune system in that way, maybe. I would see a dermatologist to determine if this is the cause of your hair loss and maybe they can offer help. If they can't come up with a definitive cause, then I would consider it a possibilty that ETS caused it.

From what I've read, this Dr. Nielson has had more unsatisfied customers than anybody, it is no wonder he is being sued. Serves him right, the bastard!!

I have started a letter that I plan to distribute to various media outlets regarding the true nature of this surgery and the deceptive marketing of it. I will submit it for review on this site when I finish it because I refer in it to us ( members of this group, but not names specifically ) rather than just myself. I feel that I should ask the groups permission to do so. If anyone feels this is inappropriate I will change it. I will send it to these outlets 1000 times over if I have to get a response.

Strings, I'll help in any way I can as well. I want to get the word out about this fucked up sugery.

I still have all my body hair, it's just my eyebrows and eyelashes and hair that is falling out. The weird thing is the hair loss is on the sides of my head, not typical male pattern baldness. My Dad and brother are both bald or balding but they have all of their eyebrow and eyelash hair. It's definitely because of ETS no question about it. It looks just like the individuals on the picture section.

I've been referred to a Neurologist but have not made an appointment yet.... Not sure there is much they can do for me...
