I'm in Indiana. I would be interested in hearing from anyone living nearby or who had their ETS done by Dr. R in the late 1990's. I think support, and
knowing there are people in the same boat near you is important.

 This is the man that
ruined my life. Dr. Depan at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, New York. The chief of cardiothoracic surgery. Admittedly gave myself and it least one other
patient Horner's. The chance of that being 0.1%. Again this man ruined everyday for me. Forever.

Hello everybody! It s my first time here writing something. I am from Slovenia, Kamnik. 33 years old.
I was clamped in 2006 and had clamps out this year. I have problem with CS over the summer time on my back and chest and dont have any other side effects. |

I don't remember if I answered this thread but South Texas here and had my surgery back in December 1999 by William Warren in Chicago, IL (not sure what
level).
I suffered from severe facial blushing/sweating, hand sweating galore and feet, also sweated alot before anyway...post ETS: bad CS on back, chest and thighs, lowered heart rate, no emotions, dry skin/scalp, headaches, fatigue, etc. I can say it was worse at the beginning than now because I expected different back then, whereas now it is what it is and have coped. It was a tradeoff, and thats that. I guess I have chosen to focus on other things at this point in my life and just improvise on the rest. There are people that are worst off and people that are better off. I am here in this life for a short period of time anyway, I guess I don't like to dwell on the negatives at this point in my life. When a solution comes for this, it will come. For now, I focus on things that make me happy (career, family, etc)- this is me...and I am actually OK. I can use hand lotion now, not have my makeup run after 5 minutes, shake hands, handle the laptop/keyboard and any other objects with ease...and hold hands. I also have my legs/feet, all my 5 senses and can still enjoy life through them. Although not easy, I try to see whats good about this situation...its the only way I keep sane
